Philippe Casanova pays a tribute to italian unity exhibiting one of his baroque interiors. His painting represent the high Altar of Santa Maria in Traspontina, Rome, during a liturgical function. The Baroque universe is a launching slope, the baroque form is an impulse; the architecture is illuminated by a transfiguring beam of light, explosing and dissolving the outlines and materials, highlighting a journey:the itinerary of the soul to God.
