Separate the light from the darkness

Santuary Our Lady of the Laus. After the solemn mass, in order to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Apparitions recognition, His Grace Monsignor Jean-michel di Falco-Leandri, Bishop of Gap and Embrun, will bless the monumental painting of Philippe Casanova, present on occasion.

Philippe Casanova, a french artist passionated by baroque and inspired by the Eternal City. I met again, after many years, Our Lady of Laus with emotion. It is a Havre de Grace, peace and quiet for the soul, in a symbiosis with nature, creation. In the city I have elected, the Holly city of Rome, I have, year after year, discovered the baroque. The architects and artists who made it so beautifull used to say: " il mondo piangente e il Cielo festeggiante": the world is crying, the Heaven is celebrating. Since this world is sinking into crisis and tribulations, the Heaven invite himself to inflame the hearth e celebrate the glory of Our Lady and of the humble rural Benoite, the one who guessed right."
